DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, MASTER FRANCHISE PROGRAM

Fast growing commercial cleaning franchisor is seeking a Business Development Director, Master Franchise Program.  This position will be based in our San Mateo corporate headquarters office and will involve substantial travel among our offices in the US.  Currently, we have 46 Master Franchise offices, 1,800 unit franchisees, and anticipate significant system growth this year. 

This position requires a background in marketing and business development and will focus on master franchise activities.  The position will be located in the San Mateo corporate headquarters.

Key responsibilities include the following: 

• Supporting all master franchise sales efforts
• Assisting with master franchise opening support
• Developing and maintaining collateral (brochures, fliers, etc.)
• Developing and administering online marketing campaigns
• Assisting in the development of focused advertising campaigns
• Travel to Master Franchise offices will be up to 25% of schedule

Experience requirements include the following: 

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of marketing experience
• Prior experience in a franchise system would be a plus
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• B.S. or B.A. in marketing, communications, business, public relations, or business required
• Proven results in the development of integrated marketing campaigns
• Experience in managing marketing budgets
• Experience in strategic and tactical marketing planning
• Ability to deal effectively with all types of personalities is essential
